CareerSource Central Florida Appoints New Vice President of Strategic Communications

Orlando, FL – CareerSource Central Florida (CSCF), the region’s workforce provider, today announced it has named Ms. Lisa Burby Vice President of Strategic Communications, effective immediately. In this new role, Ms. Burby will be responsible for elevating and protecting the CSCF brand, overseeing public relations and employee communication strategies, and informing and engaging business partners and key stakeholders by conveying the value, vision and mission of the organization across all mediums. She reports directly to Pamela Nabors, president & CEO, and serves as a member of the executive leadership team.

Ms. Burby has held influential leadership positions at Fortune 500, agency and non-profit companies across multiple industries advancing brand awareness and consumer demand, influencing key stakeholders and strengthening a competitive position worldwide. Prior to joining CSCF, Ms. Burby was a consultant advising clients in a broad range of messaging, branding, and change management initiatives. Before that, she served in successive leadership positions with Wyndham Worldwide where she was responsible to shape and integrate various brand marketing and communication strategies during her 11-year tenure. Her other experience includes roles with The Foundation for Orange County Public Schools; Edelman; AT&T Wireless, Inc; Visit Orlando; Florida Hospital; and Target Corporation.
