Career development workshops provide you a competitive advantage as you search for your new career. Each course offers skills designed to help you find, prepare for, and land your next career. During these workshops, you will learn about additional, beneficial CareerSource Central Florida resources to aide in your career search.
All CareerSource Central Florida learning opportunities are complimentary and offered on a first-come basis. Seating is limited and most workshops are one hour in length.
Ticket to Work (TTW) Orientation – Individuals with Disabilities: Receive guidance and information on navigating the Ticket to Work program with an active support system and a wealth of resources to get back on track for employment. If you receive SSI and/or SSDI, our experts can help you transition back to the workforce.
PC 101: Prepare yourself with essential computer skills. Topics include learning fundamentals of operating a computer, understanding basic operating systems including hardware and software, and performing basic word processing, email, and internet functions. Workshops are complimentary, but seating is limited, with priority given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Transitional Services Overview: During this overview, you will receive information regarding transitional services, in addition to learning job search tips and practices for reintegrating into the workforce. Seating is limited, with priority given on a first-come, first-served basis.
