Mobile Career Center
CareerSource Central Florida’s Mobile Career Center brings a wealth of recruitment resources to career seekers throughout the Central Florida region. It serves as a valuable option for residents to receive tailored services in remote areas where there is not a dedicated brick-and-mortar Career Services Center. Currently, the Mobile Career Center is available to Sumter County residents the first full week of every month.
While on board the Mobile Career Center, career seekers will receive tailored services based on their recruitment needs, with a dedicated Career Services Consultant and access to ten computer stations. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Resume and cover letter writing assistance
- Registering and searching for jobs in the state’s largest online database, Employ Florida Marketplace
- Career consultation
- Professional development workshops
In addition to serving career seekers, the Mobile Career Center is available to bring on-site for educational training and On-the-Job Training. On-site locations include businesses, technical schools, colleges, churches, libraries, hospitals, and other venues where clients may not have access to transportation or accessibility to visit one of our six Career Services Centers.
