Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Requirements: Must possess strong equipment operations skills. Current CDL Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record. Must have transportation to and from Company office. Be able to lift fifty to sixty pounds (50-60 Lbs.). Be able to drive Manual Transmission Truck. Comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy. Be able to work overtime, nights and weekends. Minimum three years’ (3) experience operating motor grader, backhoe / loader, skid steer and dump truck. Highway maintenance or construction skills are preferred. Good math skills and interpersonal skills are required.

Job Responsibilities: Operate various forms of heavy highway equipment. Perform highway Drainage and Drainage Maintenance activities. Clean and grades ditches, drainage structures, slopes. Repair work including by not limited to repair of fences, sign repair and other highway activities. Use all equipment safely. Drive standard shift vehicles. Understand proper traffic control procedures. Learn proper operations of all equipment: tractor, mowing equipment. Understand Company’s Safety Manual and understand what is expected by the company and the customer. Participate in training programs made available by the company. Learn to fix and perform preventative maintenance for common breakdowns (replacing or cleaning air filters, belts, etc.).

Work Schedule: Full Time 40 Hours per Week plus Overtime.

Salary: $11.00 – $18.00 per hour.

Dump Truck Diver

Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent and one (1) year of experience operating a heavy equipment/construction vehicles, or an equivalent combination of training and roadway experience. Must have a commercial driver’s license. Must have a valid current CDL driver’s license with air brakes and pass a Dot physical. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Job Responsibilities: Operate commercial vehicle with a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) during seeping operation that is equipped with dump body in order to transport and dump loose materials. Pull levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents. Load truck by hand or by operating mechanical loader. Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Must keep the truck’s condition with proper maintenance and cleaning. Conduct daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Communicate with operators and other drivers to coordinate materials handling and product. Assist with general labor duties when needed.

Work Schedule: Full Time 40 Hours per Week plus Overtime.

Salary: $10.00 – $11.00 per hour.

Electrical Assistant

Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Five (5) to ten (10) years of relative experience. Journeyman’s license required. Ability to work with 277/480 volts. Must have a CDL License. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must pass a DOT physical.

Job Responsibilities: Work form elevated locations. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit. Drill holes for wiring and pull or push wiring through openings. Trace out short circuits in wiring. Assist in lifting, positioning and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit and motors. Perform minor repairs such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs and switches. Maintain tools and equipment and keeps supplies and parts in order. Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective so worn parts and reassembles equipment.

Spray Technician

Job Requirements: Commercial Pesticide Applicators License in the appropriate state categories for Vegetation management. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) will be required for all operator of trucks over 26,000 GVW. Drug screening required.

Job Responsibilities: Spray complete weed, grass and brush control to various commercial / industrial sites. Assist with all daily routing and scheduling. Assist with all daily tank mixing. Do truck inspections such truck  / spray system maintenance and repairs. Have all needed tools and equipment on board, including repair kits for on the road repairs. Have all proper safety items, such as vests, hard hats, gloves, safety items, such as vests, hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, etc. Make sure all minor repairs are made. Make sure all equipment is in working order, such as water suck pumps, chemical injection equipment, computer, etc. Calibrate all spray equipment. Make sure all work is conducted in compliance with strict safety guidelines. Understand application methods and equipment. Calibrate and spray patterns.

Work Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week with overtime.

Salary: $10.00 – $11.00 per hour
