Six (6) months or maintenance experience in a similar position in a hotel, resort and/or commercial/residential building preferred. Intermediate knowledge and skills or certification in the following fields but not limited to: plumbing, electrician, carpentry, equipment mechanics, HVAC, refrigeration. Verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to determine potential hazards. Fluency in a foreign language, preferably Spanish. Ability to move throughout the work areas. Employer conducts drug screening, reference and background checks.
Job Responsibilities: Perform repairs and maintenance for assigned area such as the interior/exterior of buildings, hotel suites, laundry facilities, kitchen equipment, lighting, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation and water treatment systems and swimming pool. Carry out regular maintenance to guest rooms and record action taken. Test and record the hot and cold water temperatures. Clean and sterilize the shower head and tap diffusers for each bathroom appliance, at 6-month intervals. Report all unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to manager. Monitor and order sufficient stock levels of required spares. Ensure inventory is up to par as per department and hotel policy and procedures. Respond in a prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure guest satisfaction. Communicate daily with Reception and Housekeeping, to obtain rooms availability, to minimize any guest inconvenience and maximize productivity. Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest suites such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures in guest suites if needed.

Salary Range: $12.00-$14.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements: No minimum education requirements. Must have six (6) months of experience. Work experience in pizza station and pizza preparation preferred. Ability to prepare meals as specified in recipes. Must have verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to understand guests’ needs. Must be organized and be able to multi-task while providing service to multiple guests within any given period of time. Ability to move throughout the work areas. Employer conducts drug screening, reference and background checks.
Job Responsibilities: Prepare and cook orders (hot and cold meal) for daily operations in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes. Check food line to ensure that all required items are stocked with backups in their proper locations. Continuously restocks items as needed. Control food usage to minimize waste. Advise supervisor of low inventory items; assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required. Perform all methods of cookery and portion control and garnishes all dishes in accordance with specifications, timing and standards set by the Head Chef. Maintains standards of sanitation and maintains the cleanliness of all but not limited to cooking equipment, work area. Reach-ins, walk-ins and counters used during shift. Must ensure cleanliness standards in the kitchen meet or exceed the state and local Health Board Inspection and hotel requirements. Completes all cleaning functions as directed by cleaning schedule and/or Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring that all product is properly stored, equipment shut down, and the kitchen properly secure prior to leaving at the end of the evening shift. Complete pre-shift duties as assigned. Anticipate guests’ needs, respond and acknowledge guests even when busy. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment only as intended.

Job Responsibilities: Clean, wash and store all plate ware, silverware, glassware, pots & pans, kitchen equipment in accordance with established standards and guidelines of the hotel and The Head Chef. Set up work station as required including filling dish machine, checking chemical levels, pre-soaking, and gathering required set-up equipment for appropriate work stations. Operate dishwashing machine to manufacturer specifications and instructions. Place clean dishes in assigned storage location. Clean kitchen equipment, such as hoods, filters, steam tables, bus tables, carts, ovens and grills, sink, refrigerator/freezers, service areas, walls, floor. Use and dispose of kitchen substances (such as grease) and kitchen chemicals properly. Responsible of cleaning all the areas of the employee break-room. This consists of cleaning all tables, chairs, electronic items such as coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Empty and clean trash cans when they become full, transport garbage containers from kitchen and employee break-room and work areas to dump site; adhere to recycling regulations. Set up and monitor the pot sink according to procedures.
