Youth Opportunities Investment Hiring Event on 10/16 & 10/17/2017

CareerSource Central Florida is recruiting for a Fortune 500 Company located in the Orlando, Florida area . Positions: Youth Care Specialists I & II and Master ControlTechnicians. On the spot interviews on Monday, October 16th from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm and Tuesday, October 17th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at our office located at 1392 E. Vine Street, Kissimmee, FL 34744.

1. Positions: Youth Care Specialists I & II

Job Responsibilities of the Youth Care Specialists I & II:

  • Supervise the activities of a group of youths, maintaining knowledge of the whereabouts of all group members.
  • Represent each youth’s problems, needs, and accomplishments to the treatment team, or provides progress reports to the counselor representative on the treatment team.
  • Assist classroom teachers in the delivery of subject matter and transfer of class content and study practices to the living units.
  • Document daily shift occurrences and frequent population counts as required by local and corporate policy.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements of the Youth Care Specialists:

  • HS Diploma or the Equivalent required with 2 year’s work experience working with youth. Two years of College coursework in Social or Human Service field preferred.
  • Group counseling and leadership skills are required. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Class E driver’s license required.
  • Employer will conduct a background check and drug screening.

Work Schedule: To be discussed with Employer.

Salary: $11.00 to $14.00 per hour DOE.

2. Position: Master Control Technician.

Job Responsibilities of the Master Control Technician:

This position is responsible for the monitoring and control of facility access and for monitoring the facility, youth and line movement

Essential Duties:

  • Performs responsibilities which involve placing and answering calls, remembering names of facility staff including location and facility program routines.
  • Responsible for the entrance and exit of visitors and proper documentation of visitation, off site trips and appointments of youth and staff.
  • Authorizing, monitoring and documenting youth movement.
  • Monitoring of video systems.
  • Completion of perimeter checks at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Communicates emergencies to the appropriate staff.
  • Notify supervisor of receipt of paperwork, court orders, etc.
  • Log all staff entering and leaving the facility.
  • Monitors the fence, fire and security alarms.

Requirements of the Master Control Technician :
