Pamela Nabors is President and CEO of the second largest Regional Workforce Board in the state of Florida -- CareerSource Central Florida. Always one to embrace a challenge, Pam led the agency through both significant reputation repair, as well as a complete financial and operational overhaul in her first year on the job, in 2012. Pam’s vision is focused on making Central Florida the best destination for talent. To accomplish that vision, she is leading CareerSource Central Florida through a corporate culture renaissance, championing regional partnerships and tailoring service delivery through a concierge approach that meets the talent needs of businesses. With 20+ years of experience in workforce development and leadership, Pam’s career progression spans roles from college career counselor, industry trainer, and training manager to planning director. Prior to joining CareerSource Central Florida, Pam directed program operations for Capital Workforce Partners, the Workforce Investment Board in Hartford, Conn., and worked as workforce planning director for Brevard Workforce Development Board in Cocoa. She has also taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in career development, human resources, and psychology. Pam earned the Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) credential with a Management endorsement from the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP). She is often invited to serve on executive search panels for colleges and workforce agencies, as well as review grant proposals for federal labor programs and national associations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the State University of New York College at Buffalo (which could partially explain her unwavering support of the Buffalo Bills), and a Master’s Degree in Personnel Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. Pam loves music, movies, traveling, and the arts; her music trivia skills are second to none! She is also an active member of the US Conference of Mayors, Workforce Development Council, the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, Junior Achievement, Orlando Economic Development Commission Board of Directors and many other civic boards. Pam is relentless in her commitment to innovation and talent development for the Central Florida community and the national workforce development system. She has been recognized for this passion by several partner organizations. Capital Workforce Partners named her Employee of the Year in 2008, or the “hardest working woman in workforce development”. More recently, she was honored as one of the Orlando Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” Executives of the Year in 2015, and again as a CEO of the Year in 2016. She was also honored in 2015 by the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council with the Woman of Distinction, Visionary (Courage) Award. Pam is also excited this year to be chosen as a member of Leadership Florida Class XXXVI.

Mimi Coenen has worked in workforce development for 15 years and has held a variety of positions in workforce development which has prepared her for the role of Chief Operating Officer at CareerSource Central Florida headquartered in Orlando. A critical component to Mimi’s success in her role is an understanding of the community she serves – this is accomplished through her active participation on the Community Action Committee and Leadership Orlando. Additionally, her day to day responsibilities include overseeing all team members focused on operational aspects of the organization, providing support to the President and CEO with all Board of Directors activities, and delivery of strategic oversight on administration and service delivery for all federal, state and local workforce development programs and grants. Coenen earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business from Northwood University and is a member of South Florida Business Professionals and National Association of Workforce Development Professionals.

Leo Alvarez has a wealth of experience in private and public accounting, auditing, compliance and internal controls. Prior to working for CareerSource Central Florida, he served as the accounting manager for Lutheran Services of Florida. He has also worked as an audit associate and accountant for Cross, Fernandez and Riley, a Central Florida accounting firm. Alvarez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, accounting and finance from the University of Central Florida.

Ann Beecham comes to CareerSource Central Florida from the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County, where she spent the last eight years as Human Resources Manager and Director. Responsible for over 250 employees with CareerSource Central Florida, Mrs. Beecham brings not only a wealth of experience but a fresh perspective for an agency that is continuously looking for new ways to enhance the workplace culture to inspire and engage employees. As an HR philosophy, Mrs. Beecham stands by the theory that a value-based organization focused on motivation and collaboration leads to excellent service delivered by experts in their field. Mrs. Beecham is a member of the National Society for Human Resource Management and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), obtained through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). She recently became a certified DiSC Assessment Train-the-Trainer, and holds an MBA in Human Capital Management from Capella University while currently pursuing her PhD.

Nilda Blanco has a keen understanding of workforce development and public policy working with a variety of community and business partners during her career. Prior to joining CareerSource Central Florida, she was a regional manager with Henkels & McCoy and was responsible for the youth services program for the Polk County Workforce Development Board and Workforce Solutions of the Treasure Coast. During her eight years with Henkels & McCoy, Blanco also served as an area manager and compliance manager. She also managed the youth program at Capital Workforce Partners in Hartford, Conn. She served as the youth opportunity grant coordinator for Hartford Public Schools and worked in the mayor’s offices of both the City of Hartford and City of New Britain. Blanco earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in journalism, mass media and communications from Rutgers University.

Bradley Collor brings experience earned on both the national and global stages in customer service, process development and improvement, and operational management. He comes to CareerSource Central Florida from ZeroChaos, where he spent the last seven years ascending the ranks of leadership to become Executive Director of Global Customer Service and Solution Center, where he utilized his talents to motivate, plan, and implement solutions to oversee five contact centers across three continents in providing exemplary customer service and response. As the Director of Operations & Youth Services, Collor oversees a team dedicated to providing concierge-style service to our Central Florida career-seeking customers. Collor has a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of New Orleans.

Tonya Elliott-Moore is responsible for the development and execution of the communications and public relations strategies to raise awareness of CareerSource Central Florida’s programs. She brings a wealth of experience in public relations with both government agencies and private firms. She has served as the program management specialist for external relations for Progress Energy, Florida. She has also worked as the director of public information for Osceola County, the assistant director of public works and the community relations manager for the City of Ocoee and the community relations coordinator for the City of Maitland. Elliott-Moore was an account executive for Gilbert & Manjura Marketing and a marketing associate at RDV Sportsplex. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida.

Steven Nguyen leads CareerSource Central Florida’s technology strategy and manages IT operations, overseeing 1000+ network devices across seven offices. He brings 11 years of experience in supporting and innovating workforce development solutions. Initiatives include improving service delivery through embracing effective and efficient use of technology, introducing modern mobile business models, developing online opportunities, and providing highly responsive customer service. Nguyen completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida, and earned a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University. He is also an alumni member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon International Honor Society for Computing and Information Disciplines, in affiliation with the Association for Computing Machinery and IEEE Computer Society.

Robert J. Quinlan joined CareerSource Central Florida in 2015, with an extensive 27-year background in financial sales and sales management. Before coming to CareerSource Central Florida, Quinlan worked for J.P. Morgan Chase Bank as Relationship Manager / Business Banking. Additional past positions include First Vice President / Senior Branch Manager of SunTrust Bank, Regional Manager – Personal and Business Banking of RBC Centura Bank, and Vice President / Business Banker of Wachovia Bank. Quinlan is responsible for developing and leading the overall strategy and execution of CareerSource Central Florida’s Business and Professional Services Department by successfully providing management and oversight in business development through tactics that include assisting companies with workforce planning, sourcing, recruiting, and selection. He earned an Associate of Arts Degree from University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance from the University of Central Florida. Active in the community, Quinlan served as Past Director of the Seminole Regional Chamber of Commerce, Past President and Treasurer of the Maitland-South Seminole Chamber of Commerce, Alumni of the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce Leadership Orlando Program, and Past Director for Leadership Seminole.
