Career seeker Steven Rivera reached out to Career Center Manager Gina Ronokarijo and asked if it would be possible to stop by in his OPD patrol car and uniform to surprise Career Consultant Virginia Patterson. Virginia worked with Steven to help in enroll in Osceola’s Technical Law Enforcement Program two years ago and graduated in August 2018.
He became a proud father shortly after that and sidelined his career goals for a short time. Fast forward – Last year he began working as an armed guard for Dunbar and now he was excited to share with Virginia that he is a commissioned Police Officer for the city of Orlando.
