When U.S. Army Veteran, William, transitioned to civilian life, he became a private pilot. In June 2021, he was furloughed from his job due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. William needed to evaluate his next steps, and he was referred to CareerSource Central Florida (CSCF). William expressed interest in continuing his career in the aviation industry as a flight instructor, and the CSCF team helped him tailor his resume to apply to his desired roles. While William waited to complete some requirements to become a flight instructor, he landed a part-time position as a Delivery Driver with United Parcel Service (UPS).
