When Veteran Nomar first connected with CareerSource Central Florida (CSCF), his financial situation was dire. After losing his job, Nomar and his family were homeless and living in a hotel. The CSCF team sprang into action, and based on his qualifications, he was referred to a Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center hiring event. Nomar was interviewed and got hired on the spot for a 12-week paid internship as a Cook II. In addition to finding a job, CSCF referred Nomar to other support services to help him get back on his feet. He was grateful for the support and encouragement he received from the CSCF team during a challenging time in his life.
