CSCF recently participated in a targeted patient healthcare job fair event for Orange County District 5 residents. We supported Southern Technical Institute WIOA participants who are seeking permanent employment in the CNA, HHA or PCA fields. Leah Rawlins represented to provide training information on our services.
Leah received the following note of appreciation from Commissioner Hill’s office: “Your presence as a representative of CareerSource of Central Florida added breadth by offering services to those who came but did not qualify for a job interview. Thus the event purpose became more comprehensive! For instance, Samantha, an attendee tells her conversation with you inspired her to commit to starting training to become a CNA.
