Alex Aviles, owner and operator of Dealer Service Alternative (DSA), reached out to CSCF back in February this year. As a veteran himself, he expressed a targeted interest in hiring veterans because of the experience and work ethic that veterans tend to bring into their work performance.
Fast forward to this summer, Alex contacted CSCF discouraged that he had been sourcing for the position, but was spending too much on Indeed and other hiring platforms with no results. CSCF staff posted his open position for a Service Advisor in Employ Florida. Alex reviewed several resumes and found one for Jaime Del Rio, a veteran who was unemployed due to COVID. Jaime began working with DSA at $20/hr. in August and Alex is thrilled with him.
