Before heading to Lake County for our grand opening event, the new president of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), Ken Lawson, stopped by our West center to take a tour of the facility. He met with our center staff, and really tuned in to what our career centers really have to offer our community. Mr. Lawson took the time to hear our concerns, witness our triumphs and discuss new methods to elevate our organization with the support of DEO. We really appreciated Mr. Lawson’s visit with our West staff and we’re certain he will do a phenomenal job with leading DEO and CareerSource Florida’s local boards to greater heights.
