Final 2018-2019 program numbers are in and we’re excited to share with you all what we’ve been able to create – a deeper prosperity for our community. We’ve served more than 46,000 individuals in Central Florida and connected over 8,500 career seekers to employment opportunities within our five-county region. In addition we’ve partnered with more than 3,600 local businesses within the six high growth industries to meet their hiring and training needs.
More than 1,500 individuals received training to advance their skills and increase their marketability when job searching. In addition, we placed the highest number of individuals into training within the Healthcare, Trade & Logistics and Hospitality industries with 409 placements, 268 placements and 260 placements, respectively.
With all that we were able to achieve this past year, we are very enthusiastic about more opportunities to inspire people and transform businesses during this new 2019-2020 program year.
