CSCF was one of only two regions in Florida recognized by the State for exemplary service to veterans.

High School Career Express
The High School Career Express (HSCE) program gives students hands-on career
exploration through business visits, mentorship, and interactive learning. Since 2024, HSCE has connected more than 300 students with more than 50 leading employers, including Walt Disney World, KPMG, HCA Healthcare, Addition Financial Credit Union, and Orlando City Soccer Club, helping 98% discover new career interests and 91% feel better prepared for their future.
Summer Youth Program
Each summer, CareerSource Central Florida’s Summer Youth Program helps youth ages 14–19 build confidence, skills, and career curiosity through paid work experiences and hands-on exploration. In 2025, CSCF’s Summer Youth Program connected more than and strengthening our region’s talent pipeline. Our Year-round Youth Program empowers young adults ages 16-24 with skills, training, and career services to jump-start a fulfilling and rewarding future.
Veteran Support
When a Veteran or military spouse comes to one of CSCF’s Career Centers, they’re met with more than resources, they’re met with respect. Through Priority of Service, CSCF’s veteran team helps them move to the front of the line for job support, training, and guidance that honors their service and supports their next chapter.
Each year, CSCF serves more than 400 veterans and military spouses, providing personalized career services designed to help them successfully transition into civilian careers.
CSCF also partners with employers who share this commitment, hosting hiring events like Paychecks for Patriots, National Hire a Veteran Day, and Hearts for Veterans. These connections help translate military experience into meaningful civilian careers.

CareerSource Central Florida does not build a stronger workforce alone; it is fueled by a network of public and private partners who share a commitment to strengthening the economic future of Central Florida.
This spirit of collaboration extends to the nearly 5,000 businesses CareerSource Central Florida serves each year. By helping employers recruit, train and retain talent, we strengthen the region’s workforce while creating pathways to opportunity for job seekers.
Through the generosity of funding partners like JPMorganChase, Addition Financial Credit Union, AdventHealth, Walt Disney World, City of Orlando, Orange County, Osceola County, Seminole County, and Lake County, as well as numerous educational institutions, community organizations, and employer partners, we are opening doors to careers that change lives.
Their support allows us to train emerging talent for high-demand fields, prepare individuals for careers in healthcare, guide youth in exploring their future career paths, and connect residents to fulfilling public service opportunities.
Success Story: Alexander
A New Chapter Begins for 23-Year-Old Coast Guard Veteran
At the Paychecks for Patriots hiring event, 23-year-old Alexander was among those who received an on-the-spot job offer. After serving three years in the Coast Guard, Alexander turned to CareerSource Central Florida for support with his job search, resume development and interview preparation. Working with his Career Consultant, he refined his interview skills and secured a position as a security guard with Allied Universal.
